The Southampton International Boat Show returned in style this year at Mayflower Park in Southampton and allowed boaters and novices to dive into the lifestyle of being in and on the water.

With a vast array of boats for sale, chandlery and marine products, not only was it the place to be for serious boat buyers and water sports enthusiasts, it was also a great day out for the entire family with plenty of expert advice and exciting opportunities to get afloat.

At Boat Central we feel there's a boat that could be right for everyone, and with Europe's largest purpose-built marina showcasing everything from stand-up paddleboards, sailing yachts, power boats and superyachts, it was great to see thousands of people engaging with exhibitors.

But if you missed the show, will you have to wait until the next one..?

We don't think you do...

Whilst the Southampton International Boat Show is undoubtedly a spectacular event, the businesses who exhibit are open to the public all year round. They are always keen to meet boating enthusiasts and can provide great advice, help and assistance to make your dreams of being on the water come true at any time.

But where do you find them, and how do you contact them..?

Boat Central puts everything under one roof, to make it easy for you to enquire, discover and meet with the people who can help you fulfil your boating ambitions. Our simple search facility allows you to find businesses connected with your interests and easily get in touch with them 365 days a year.

As the season draws to a close, now can also be a good a time for many people who are new to boating to make enquiries about different types of boats and watercraft. Boat Brokers, Training Schools, and Boat Share Companies will have the time to introduce you to their boats for sale and services, whilst giving you all the advice you need to make sure you make the right decisions.

Simply use our search facility here> to select what you're looking for, enter your preferred location and "Viola" the results appear..! It couldn't be easier.

Boat Shows can also provide opportunties for more seasoned boaters to discover new boat brands and purchase chandlery or products for their existing boats, often with promotional incentives. To extend this for Boaters beyond Boat Shows, we're now working with partners within the marine industry who are keen to promote their products to boating enthusiasts throughout the year.

Our new partnership section will be launching later this year, allowing boating enthusiasts throughout the UK to enjoy and benefit from a selection of exclusive discounts and promotions brought to them by marine retailers, suppliers and service providers. So watch this space...!

There's no denying the unrivalled atmosphere a Boat Show provides, but for those unable to attend, we want to make it easy for you to find "who or what" you need, "when and where" you need them.

Finally, a huge well done to the organisers of the Southampton International Boat Show and all of the Exhibitors who took part. In what has been a challenging 18 months for many, it was a breath of fresh air to see the smiles returning and the pontoons and walkways full of happy Boating Enthusiasts...!
